Cheerleading
Mission Statement
Our mission is to uphold the pride and tradition of Allen D. Nease High School through teamwork, community spirit activities and service projects. As Panther Cheerleaders, we are committed to continuous improvement in the areas of crowd leading, stunts, jumps, pyramid building, dance and tumbling. We are dedicated to further developing skills both on and off the track/mats, setting an example of good citizenship encompassing the St Johns County School District’s six pillars of Character, showing sportsmanship at all times, and promoting friendships with each other and with the schools with whom we compete. We rely on parents to support these program goals and facilitate a positive atmosphere.
About

Nease Cheer is proudly coached by Ms. Brooke Lovelace, a St. Johns County teacher and former St Augustine High School Varsity cheer captain, All-Star Worlds Cheerleader, and Nease JV coach for the 2021-2022 season.
The Nease Cheerleading program is made up of varsity and junior varsity squads who cheer at home and away football games and basketball games. The varsity squad competes at the small varsity level. In addition to cheering responsibilities, the Panther Squad leads the school in various school and community projects including pep rallies, an annual 1st day of school teacher breakfast, fundraising efforts, school spirit store, team building activities, summer cub camp and much more.
All cheerleaders trying out for the squad must fill out this registration form in it's entirety.
